I bought this from my grandson for Christmas. He and his dad have a great time playing.
Fun game January 12, 2010 Renee 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is one of the most fun fishing games I have played on any game console. The fishing rod doesn't work but it is fine to play with the regular controller. Unlike other fishing games, this one allows you to work the lure. Also as weather conditions change throughout the fishing day, you have to change your color/lure.
Addictive Fishing Game March 6, 2010 S. Wong (Singapore) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is by far the best fishing game I have tried. Very addictive and made me spend two hours just fishing in Kyota alone. What I like about this game is that you can drive the boat around to fish and have underwater view. Easy to cast and reel in fish too although there are not that many fishes to catch. However, being able to drive the boat around is fun enough to make this game worth it. The rod that come with it is of no use though. After trying a few fishing games, I like this one the most and I am not even fond of fishing or fish in real life.
Hooked On the Fun! March 8, 2010 William G. Haver (Boston, MA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was skeptical to say the least if this would be yet another bad disappointment in a replicated fishing game. I was wrong! It is really fun. I found myself playing for a much longer time than expected mainly due to the unique Wii-orientation of the pole and the nun-chuck-assisted reel. You really do get a feel for the water and the fish. My 12-year old loves it and he usually can't tolerate these type of games compared to his battle games. The only negative is the constant comment by the narrator which I haven't figured out how to turn-off. Other than that one aspect, I highly recommend this game.
Scared to update November 9, 2009 Jennifer L. Simons (Tennessee) 1 out of 13 found this review helpful
My son got this from his aunts and when I put it in it asked to update my WII. I wouldn't have thought anything about it except it stated "If the Wii is not compatible that the wii would become inoperable". It does not advertise this in the online description, on the box or in stores. Does anyone know is this upgrade safe? I have researched all the mateial that came with the game and my wii manual's. I can't find any inforamtion about an update. Help!
